MoltexFLEX and its employees are dedicated to living the company’s values and making them an integral part of everyday working life.     James gets a double mention

    James Leybourn, our Senior Fuel Handling Engineer, was nominated twice independently for his Transparency and Integrity in the risk registers, design database and product breakdown structure. The whole team all benefit from his work in these areas and his efforts will provide clarity and structure to our current/future technical work.

    Chris has his eye on improvement

    Chris Morgans, our Project Manager, has been praised for his Transparency and Integrity in his support to the Improvement Champions – volunteer team members who take responsibility for instigating and seeing through improvements to our workspace and practices – for their proposal to ‘close the loop’ in the Pulse Check exercise (whereby regular progress updates on improvements are taken account of). Chris has always supported the Pulse Check and has demonstrated his support to the entire MoltexFLEX team throughout the whole process, and is always making the case for the process when needed to senior management.

    Eldar praised for sharing data in engineering

    Our development engineer Eldar Rahimov was nominated for his efforts in providing transparency in the work and conclusions that he shared with the thermohydraulics team recently on the operation of one of our molten salt test rigs. He is also showing great teamwork in trying to align the engineering and thermohydraulics teams regarding the test rigs’ needs.

    Joe shows himself to be a dedicated problem-solver

    Our chemist Dr Joe Vickers has won plaudits for his integrity and transparency regarding a problem in our laboratory, which he quickly and efficiently solved. He was also praised for his teamwork on our project working with uranium hexafluoride – in particular dealing with a problem that meant he had to remain in the office until long after normal operating hours.

    Diego and Alberto create new tool, fix computer code

    Thermohydraulic engineers Diego Araya and Alberto Ferreira have been working incredibly as a team to create a tool that measures temperatures within the FLEX reactor. Diego was nominated as a ‘Values Hero’ for his transparency as FLEX Technical Champion, whereby he keeps the team informed of the latest developments and aims to enhance knowledge. Alberto has acted with integrity and transparency in finding errors within computer code, and pushing the team to solve the problems.
